Early this week, I received a press release from ASDA's PR office about their new nostalgia collection and this fabulous Gnome.
OK... I'm REALLY not the kind of girl that would put gnomes in her garden BUT I have a love for vintage, colourful toys and this reproduction of a retro gnome got me excited so I had to ask them to send me one.
Can you believe that Gnorman (which we renamed Billy and now will welcome any visitors to the BODIE and FOU showroom with a big smile) is 1m tall and apparently has taken UK gardens by storm.
ASDA have sold 7,000 gnomes over the past two weeks, one gnome every 3 minutes. That's crazy!

- Gnorman’s arrival couldn’t have come at a better time as the Royal Horticultural Society announce they will be lifting the gnome ban at the Chelsea Flower Show for the first time ever this year (and if you go to the show, you're likely to see some of our ball chairs on a few stands)
- Tom Cruise and Kim Kardashian are self-professed gnome-fanatics (no comment)
- and Chart toppers Elton John and David Bowie have even taken to dedicating songs to their favourite forest friends in Gnomeo and Juliet and The Laughing Gnome respectively. I've seen the first one with Mila and it's really good.
