Have you heard of CHALK & WILD magazine? 
It's a new digital mag launched by two talented girls: Art Director Felicity Lynch (she has an amazing portfolio) and Nicole Frobush, Designer of eco-friendly label Nixie Clothing who, funnily enough, I met three years ago when we were both featured in London Family Style by Japanese publisher Edition PAUMES....small world!
It's a really cool, arty, indie mag which features some great photography and aims to portray the teenage years in a realistic way. As the mother of a smart 8 years-old who more and more sounds like a 16 years-old, it's fascinating (sometimes challenging) to imagine my 'baby' spreading her wings and becomes soon one of these beautiful, teens...at the same time, I'm looking forward to being there for her and for the woman she wants to become.
My friend Michelle Marshall has styled and shot these images for CHALK & WILD which I find very beautiful.

C'est un nouveau magazine digital lancé par deux filles pleines de talents: Directrice Artistique Felicity Lynch (qui a un portfolio superbe) et Nicole Frobush, Designer de la marque bio Nixie Clothing, que j'avais rencontré il y a trois ans lorsque nos familles avaient été photographiées pour apparaitre dans le livre London Family Style des Edition PAUMES, un éditeur japonais...le monde est petit!
Chalk est un magazine cool, artistique, indépendent avec une sélection photo pointue, qui vise à tirer le portrait des ados tels qu'ils le sont aujourd'hui.
En tant que mère d'une gamine de 8 ans qui raisonne de plus en plus comme si elle en avait 16, je trouve cela fascinant (parfois flippant) d'imaginer mon 'bébé' étirer ses ailes et devenir une de ses  ados...en même temps, il me tarde de faire ce chemin avec elle et de l'aider à devenir la femme qu'elle souhaite être.
Mon amie Michelle Marshall a mise en scène et photographié ces images pour CHALK & WILD et je les trouve très belles.
